Born in Caracas in 1961. Poet, movie and TV scriptwriter and narrator. She is BS in Social Communication with major in Audiovisual from Andrés Bello Catholic University in Caracas. 1982. In that year she enters through a contest to a Poetry Workshop of the Rómulo Gallegos Latin-American Studies Center.

In 1991, her poetry book “Toledana” was runner-up for the Fundarte Poetry Prize in this year. Monteavila Publishing published it in the collection “Fire Forms” in 1992. In 1998 and with La Liebre Libre Publishing House, she issued “Purple”, obtaining great success among critics and readers. Her third poetry book, “The Good Hour” receives Honorable Mention at the Literary BiennialJosé Rafael Pocaterra in 1996. Monteavila published it 2002 in the collection “Warm Spaces.” In 2004 her last work was published by Alfaguara: “Deceiving Appearances.” Her poetical work appears included in a diverse of anthologies and essays: Translation, (Lida A. Zacklin. Anniversary Magazine dedicated to Venezuelan Literature . Junta de Andalucía, 2001); Choir of Solitary Voices (Rafael Arraiz Lucca (Sentido Publishing House. ICARO Collection, Caracas, Venezuela, 2002) among other.

In year 2000 she wins the only mention of the journal El Nacional Tale Annual Contest with the tale “Mrs. Hyde.” This story is included among others in the book “Deceiving Appearances”, published in 2004 by Alfaguara Publishing House.
